“Can you just?”.. de-bugging/troubleshooting

I don’t know how many hours of my week recently seem to dedicated to troubleshooting things that should work, but don’t!

Our large educational site at connectlms.co.uk normal ticks along nicely, its hundreds of users and dozens of systems all working in harmony, then from out of the blue, a new member of staff Skypes me saying “I can’t start the test on one of the courses”. Two hours later, I’ve established it was a conflict between the main program on LMS and a new unrelated plugin. Seems there is a javascript conflict between the two. So, I’ve messaged both software developers and left the ball in their court to resolve! Hopefully, one or other will release a patch soon and resolve the issue…
